Time is flying by. I can’t believe that it’s the middle of February already and that means car shows and drag races are just around the corner. One guy to keep an eye on at the races is Tim Grey. He was fast last season and I hear is coming back even faster this year.

Back in November I was out at SEMA in Las Vegas with the SpeedLounge and EatSleepRace crew to cover the event. Since purchasing a 7D, I decided to take a little video footage while I was out there figuring I would put a little video clip together of the show. I really didn’t expect the video to be this long but I just happened to have a bunch of footage and this is what I got. I wish I had more footage of cars but oh well. If you want to see more cars, you can always check out my photos of the show on SpeedLounge.

Anyways, this is my first video that I’ve ever put out… Well besides the stuff I did when I was back in high school. I would love to hear your opinions on the video. Be nice, everything was shot handheld :)

I shot Ryan’s Lexus towards the end of summer last year at his crib. I can’t believe it took so long for this feature to get put up but things have just been crazy with the Lounge with hackers and virus’ leading to one big crazy overhaul of the entire site. Anyways, this car has seen many different looks throughout the years but in the end, it has turned into a work of art.

Just a few snaps of my ruckus at a meet. There just happened to be a pretty tree there. I just wish I had some of my lighting there to get better exposure. Oh wells… there’s always next time.

Here is a little recap of how our week went.

These were taken with my canon sd780is. Photos of the actual event will be posted on SpeedLounge once we are done with some restructuring. Also, i have a short video in the works.

After taking the 5 hour flight and picking up our rental van for the week, our first stop was Chow King/Jollibee.

After chowing down some good eats and my thai iced tea boba, we headed out to the convention center to check out the new Lexus LFA. But as expected, there was a crowd surrounding the car.

Since it’s Vegas and it was pretty toasty out, Lexus was nice enough to give out complimentary drinks.

After spending the day at the show, what could be better then all-you-can-eat sushi??? If you’re ever in Vegas, be sure to hit up Sushi-Mon. You won’t be disappointed.

This was our home for the week.

And our pool.

We definitely put the kitchen and grill to good use. Made for good eats *nyum nyum nyum* (and almost burnt the house down >.< lol)

Now onto the Vegas night life…
